Cold War Kids 2.0
What's happening in Ukraine was entirely preventable, and that is why it's happening.
Update: Excellent new article by Pepe Escobar. Great analysis of the day’s events, the new multi-polar world, Russia’s ambitions and the geopolitical implications for NATO and the U.S. LINK HERE.
Also worth a listen:
The first rule of this conflict - don’t forget this and everything will stay in perspective:
The hyenas went after Tulsi today calling her a traitor and “Putin’s puppet”, all the usual meaningless accusations that hyenas level at those who think clearly and aren’t afraid to tell the truth. Yes, Tulsi is on the WEF website, but that doesn’t make her observations here wrong.
Reading the blue check twitter brigade the past day has been quite the feast. Though it’s difficult to tell who is secretly joyful with glee at Ukrainian suffering, so they can continue the vilification of Putin and Russia and push billion dollar weapons contracts, and who genuinely wants to start world war three by getting Poland involved next. Case in point Democrat Congressman Brad Sherman from California. Stupidity or criminality?
“Show me the difference between stupid and criminal and I’ll have my brother-in-law arrested.” - Jared Vennett
Yes, I’m still trying to get banned from Twitter, which probably requires a following, but I took this one personally because I live in Poland. Congressman Sherman is a Harvard Law alumn, so it must be criminality then.
All across twitter are calls for Ukraine to immediately join NATO and to send in U.S. forces to “liberate” them. Having spent more time on twitter today than any other day ever, I came to realize it’s a magnet for the Idiocracy. The Covidian Borg of foreign policy are out in full force feeling and not thinking as usual. Most of these assimilated cretins were never alive for the first cold war and are now cheering on the second one with no understanding of the consequences for Europe and the world, let alone zero comprehension of nuclear annihilation.
As a cold war kid I remember the fear after watching the nightly news in the early 80’s when things turned sour between the USA and USSR. Accusations of treaty violations, movement of ICBMs closer and closer to enemy lines across Europe. It was not fun, and now thanks to our benevolent overlords we have a new cold war to look forward to, a timely distraction from the bioweapons crimes of the past two years. How convenient the timing!
