Also, refuse to use a "smart" phone, or have any device connected to the "internet of things" I realize that by virtue of just being on line collects info about me, so I try to keep as low a profile as possible. I do differ from your thoughts in regards to the digital (bitcoin etc), being a viable resource in the coming dystopian future. The way I see it, if you can't physically hold your investments, they are subject to disappearing into the void of the digital world. If the government replaces what they deposit monthly into my accounts with a CBDC I plan on going about business as usual --should not make much of a difference since my biggest monthly expense is food for all my critters. The local barter economy is already shaping up. It is going to be an interesting decade or so, but I feel that the "default" position of humanity is personal freedom and sovereignty, and it won't be long before the revolution happens.

I don't own any personally, as I am of the philosophy of you don't own it unless you hold it.
