I think what you say is absolutely true. It IS too much for many people...they say "I do not want to discuss this any further", etc. etc. etc. They cannot cope with the loss of their world view, that everything they think they knew for sure is false. I am grateful that no matter how "crazy" I am thought to be, I have already come to grips with the fact that everything I thought I knew is wrong, that our country is pretty gone, and that evil is all around us. It is like being asleep a long time, and waking up in a nightmare.

Removing the veil of certainty (i.e the narrative) is an overwhelming proposition. When you crawl out from beneath that blanket, as uncomfortable and yet cozy as it is, the sheer lack of mental security and certainty is daunting. It's only then you are forced to think for yourself, but because there are so many unknowns you can never be 'sure' again of what is true. Your illusion of a guaranteed 'truth' has evaporated. It's a terrifying prospect.
