Imagine that, a nation stewing over how it was raped and pillaged, and had attempts made to erase its culture/history for 100+ years...and still being a little on edge about it. Weird, huh?

You give Poland too much credit. Deep state fingerprints all over this.

WW3, like WW2, will start in Poland.

Yes deep state fingerprints on the sabotage guaranteed. The polish thing was a joke. Inviting another self immolation by licking the boots of those who will most certainly guarantee it happens is an interesting path to take. I submitted a policy paper on how Poland should be playing the U.S., EU, and Russia against each other while building up its own military to numbers that rival Russia as a guarantee of its own security because the US alone can't be trusted. The Polish professors tried not to laugh at it. "Keep buying Russian gas and triple our defense budget?" All that generational stewing doesn't appear to be very helpful or wise as they set themselves up for another sacrificial slaughter.

Paranoia, stemming from a history of abuse, is hard to overcome.

Blinding paranoia and blind loyalty to the empire of lies as if it's still 1989 is only a guarantee of the same outcome. It's like watching a slow motion train collision of history repeating.

Poland must miss the good old days of 1988...

No lies or paranoia under Soviet occupation.

If only the Poles had American Football & Basketball and a flag that is more exciting to wave perhaps they wouldn't be so chapped about being replaced and converged into the homogenized one-world utopia. If only they could export their boys from poor agricultural towns to resource soaked goatpatches all over the world to spread democracy while getting their legs vaporized so that when they come home, we could all thank them profusely between rounds of bud lite at every rodeo and ball game - and still even get 10% off at home depot. It is really a shame that they can't just lay back on a $999 sofa in a Mchouse stuffed full of chinese produkt and think of Abraham Lincoln as their heritage and posterity is fed into the globocapital zero-carbon meatgrinder cranked by a blue-haired non-binary feminist persons of color because slavery. Before they get all uppity they should try to vote harder for 40-50 years and maybe then they could enjoy what we have here in FUSA. If not, well then there are plenty of people who just want a better life who will do they jobs they don't want to do.

Yep, our comfort (soon to be eliminated) and ignorance dooms us. I keep asking my friends why they remain loyal to sports leagues raining (it's yellow, but it's gotta be rain, right?) on them. They think I am a paranoid conspiracy theorist, since what I tell them is not found on TeeVee news, the NYT, or The Economist.

The blue collar people (especially those from Eastern Europe) I come across in my work are far more aware of the evil enveloping us than the "educated."

This is the fundamental problem. We are dealing with two sets of "facts". Until this is fixed, we will going to continue to talk past each other.

I am "paranoid conspiracy theorist" and I still love football and soccer.

We are all gonna die anyways, might as well enjoy life for the here and now, because sure as shit, this here middle-aged, middle-level bureaucrat isn't going to be able to change anything in the big picture.

Considering the number of times Russia has invaded Poland, maybe they have a reason to be paranoid

Expand full comment

Does it justify blowing up a pipeline, though? Russia suffered way-way more from Germany than anything Russia ever did to Poland, but they are not nearly as vindictive.

Did you read my post?

And considering how many times Russia has been invaded by "the West" including when it happened in the East by the US (and that's not counting Moscow invaded by Poland) with how many millions dead, Russia definitely has a reason to be paranoid at being encircled by nukes all around its perimeter. Ironically, it was actually Ukrainians who killed thousands of Poles, but why don't we blame it on Russians?

Expand full comment

Your right - maybe none of this is Russia's fault... Do think that hundreds of thousands of the best Russian troops got lost on the way back from the winter Olympics and wondered into Ukraine? That would explain why the invasion (sorry - special operation) was so unsuccessful.

Btw - I'm sure that Putin's paranoid, as he should be. We all have seen what oppressed people can do to a dictator when they lose power, and the fall is often swift and sudden.

Exactly what the US was planning to do when USSR placed its nukes in Cuba - invade Cuba, and the only reason why it didn't was because USSR removed them. Contrary to US mainstream media, the current invasion was perfectly legal as it was upon the request from the Donbass republics who were tired of living under constant bombing and shelling by Kyiv. I personally know people living there who said at the time that he (Putin) should have done it sooner. Unfortunately, Kyiv treated those people like an abusive husband - beating and bullying, but not letting them leave. All they wanted was to leave in peace, but Kyiv made it impossible for them. And now we are seeing exactly what the oppressed people do to the tyrannical Kyiv regime.

Of course, you are completely unaware that the missiles the Soviets were installing in Cuba 1,200 miles from the District of Corruption were removed after the US agreed to remove the already installed nuclear armed missiles in Turkey, 980 miles from Moscow? You are probably also completely unaware that the US Navy was depth charging a Soviet submarine armed with nuclear torpedoes and it was only because one of the Soviet officers did not concur with vaporizing several US Navy destroyers and opted instead to surface that a nuclear incident/possible war was averted in 1961?

Of course it's all perfectly legal. How could any of us think anything else. Putin would never do anything that's not 100% according to intentional law. we all believe Putin when he says that world peace is the #1 goal of the current Russian administration.

Expand full comment

You are absolutely correct. There is a UN resolution that the Russian Federation signed onto that says a nation must intervene to prevent genocide. There is a Russian resolution that Daddy Bush agreed to that says no nukes, i.e., no NATO on Russia's borders. The Russians have not installed nukes in Mexico or Canada, but the US has ringed Russia with bases which may or may not have nuclear-armed missiles aimed at Russian cities. Ever since the USSR voluntarily dissolved and Russia stood alone surrounded by former allied republics, the CIA has worked to partition Russia into three or four states, without, of course, consulting the Russian people. Brzezinski the Pollock openly stated his plan to partition Russia saying no people "should be allowed" to possess so much land and natural resources.

Exactly. Americans are ignorant about well-deserved bad blood.

Are you still angry that the British imposed a stamp act? I'm not. I focus on what the collective in which I live. All of Lenin's and Stalin's Jewish murderers of the Cheka, the NKVD, and the KGB are dead and safely tucked away in the burning agony of eternal hell. All that is necessary now is to expose the truth and not submit to the demons who call themselves "government" and want all of the ordinary people dead.
