There are 2 things I am thinking that would cause our billionaires to have constructed or are now constructing bunkers on islands like Hawaii and New Zealand...either they plan something horrifically evil, or they know something we have lost.

I've been thinking that as well: 'what if all this is to keep us from knowing what is coming?'
It makes perfect sense that they would know something that has been kept from the rest of humanity.
If they do survive in their bunkers what a horrible selection of humans to continue on.
They are certainly psychopaths...the worst of us.
