Congrats on the 6 month mark. I used to follow about 50 or more Substacks. I have it down to about 5 that I read no matter what the topic is about, and the rest is just noise at this point - this is one I always read! I appreciate your approach and the way you get me thinking about different ways to frame things. Keep up the fantastic work!

Thanks for the shout out. Unfortunately, I can not donate to Substack pages, even great ones such as yours. I do my best to get attention to your Substack in other ways and will continue to do so. Stay thirsty, my friend ( for the truth that is )!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Between indy journalists on locals and substack, I'm running thin -- but I'll proxy for you on this one.

I appreciate it but please don't. That was not my purpose for stating this!!!!

Relax, my man. My apologies for some ill-phrased levity on my part. I'm doing one last for this year -- so making it Good Citizen. Before this time next year, I expect to change continents again. If the WEF doesn't lock down the entire f-ing world. But "monkeypox!" In some cases, it is now easier (legally) to migrate illegally than to legally relocate internationally. Go figure. I guess these are the people who already own nothing, so this makes our power elites happy. I'll spare you my sob stories over the current nonsense: pretty much all of it nominally Covid-policy related, and some of it concerning China. I am more and more convinced: they just want the vast majority of us as as drugged-out, chronically ill, deeply indebted serfs who must rely entirely upon the corporate-state. At Davos, the CEO of Pfizer boasted about microchipping meds to ensure compliance. When I last landed in Guangdong (I'm not in China now), I thought their biometric controls at passport/immigration were bad enough. (They were). Next step, the bluetooth or whatever scan: Do you have all the right chips in your system? Are you broadcasting compliance? Do we need to tweak your meds to ensure your proper behavior? I'm just happy that I'm not the only one who finds this disturbing. Decent short clip a few days back from the Jimmy Dore show: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fldWRTz6c30 Might use that as an upcoming post title: "Are You Broadcasting Compliance?" All best!

Love your work and so happy to be a paid subscriber. Not sorry at all that I will be automatically charged when my renewal comes around. Usually, I put a reminder on my calendar for those types of subscriptions so I know when to cancel, but not for yours, my friend. Not for yours.

PS Used Cars is one of my fav comedies

Seeing the email, I hastily clicked and opened to read your next instalment with the now usual anticipation. I was taken aback. Six already I thought to myself. Two surely, maybe even three, but six? With a lost sense of the passing of time, I continued to read, until I got to the big bold “It’s been six months today on Substack”. Months? Six months? I was trying to convince myself that it could not have already been six YEARS, and it’s ONLY been six months? How is this possible. Has it really only been six months since we looked around and found TGC and each other on the mountaintop? So much of reality has been distorted, why not time itself? At least up here on the mountaintop we can usually see clearly. Thank you for helping to bring it into focus GC.

Thanks for looking around and finding me Steve. I wasn't going to make a big thing of it, but the paid subs have been lacking lately so the occasion occasioned the occasion. I do hope to still be going strong in six years, with less need for the heavy stuff if enough get near the mountain top.

You are my favorite Substacker. Your writing is so many things. You make me think, you make me consider, you make the truth known (like it or not). Nothing held back, no false bravado, no egomaniac ranting or repetitive raving. No matter what it is, here it is, and here’s why it is. I think you’re amazing. Really, you are. I appreciate you and everything you’ve taught me in your writings. I hope you blow past your goal by gazillions.

When I read Gia's words my first thought was: ME TOO!!

If and when you find the time, please to check-out a personal friend's site:

DON HANK <zoilandon@msn.com>. He and Z. live in Panama but Don's from USSA and is a certified MS in Russian Language with a focus on Mackinder-Stan. As you may see, he enjoys access to atypical sources (although he links SAKER articles but why not?

Both yourself and Don share "INTEGRITY" which may represent the best counter-measure to the endless river of z0g prevarications and metapotence plaguing all of us.

Both yourself and Don are much-needed 'guides' for those who seek Truth. It could make Lewis&Clark look-like a walk in the park.

J'ai confiance en vous deux.

GC, you brought me and others here because of your writing and insight, your fault is that you aren't disengaging. True journalists realize how to report without attaching, perspective is everything. I'm a fan, but you need to decide if you're reporting or lamenting, the world is full of subjects to sympathize with and it's the crux of every journalist. Resist the temptation and provide true perspective on how the world might be different from what we think, curiosity will follow.

I wish you well and continued success, we have plenty of writers complaining and fewer still that move us forward, be that...

I enjoy your analysis and not disengaging.

Happy to be part of the flock. Have to admit, for the most part, I'm just so sick and tired of the neverending deceit revealing stats, but I never miss devouring your work. I laugh, roll my eyes, shake my head, do a fist pump and share your insights with whoever has a brain left. Thank you, and PLEASE, carry on!
