I've had some intense arguments with some family members (the jabbed). It can never truly be repaired - all that has happened between us. However, sadly, it took the near death of my mother that broke down the pitiful walls of pride to realize what is of most value... I have never understood people that graft themselves to authority figures/experts and defend them at all costs to the destruction of REAL relationships... you know, the relationships where you can count on a person to take care of you when you are sick, broke, etc... Oh, right, the politician, the doctor, will take care of you because they know your name and respect the hell the out of you. How is it that so many people can join a cult and not know that they've joined a cult?

I think it's because once, we were pack animals. The group holds sway, in general. Till it doesn't, like now. The pack no longer protects, or at least THAT pack no longer protects. Long time to sort it out for all of us, at least we are on our way. best Banjocat
