Here's a movie I might see at the end of the month.

It is a National Geographic documentary about a husband & wife team who studied & filmed volcanoes together. Unfortunately, they died. But it was together, doing what they loved.

I believe the title is something like Love of Fire, or some such.

Cool !

I think we can all be mini environmentalists, in our own special way.

Mother Earth gives,

We return the favor.

Thank you Brother Brandon !

Eureka !

But I was incorrect, it's not Thoreau, but Wendell Berry.

"The care of the earth is our most ancient, most worthy and, after all, our most pleasing responsibility. To cherish what remains of it and to foster its renewal is our only legitimate hope."

Enough said !

In-Deed ! Friend !

I have a Thoreau quote, which a wood carver friend gave me on a carved redwood plaque, thirty years ago.

I'll try to find it for you.
