I will not forget I am going to die, it's about the only real thing assured in the world, a world you described so well. I see bits and bats to do with the Erika and Candace spats and I often wonder if they get together once a week or so, have a good laugh together and split the extra money their latest spat brought in. From their Botox filled faces to the words they say to each other, it all seems so fake.

Another article that has a person agreeing with even if some of the specimens you mention make for queasy moments. I am glad you mentioned Bridgette Bardot, after she gave up her career and devoted herself to looking after neglected animals, I always felt for her, I don't know about in the US but here in England the media made a big deal about it, like they were disappointed that she was a real person just like them and how dare she remove herself from their ever clicking cameras. I truly hope she found real peace and happiness, a thing that she had been missing for so many years.

I can see them laughing it up at cocktail parties together. All these actors are there for dramatic effect, to lure people away from meaningful truths. They all have casting/acting profiles, and sketchy bgs, and originated from that world. I don't believe the algos push certain people by mistake. It's all so scripted. Alex Jones is the worst of them now. Maybe he always has been.

The media exists to build people up and to tear them down again. The public has expectations for "icons" so they can consume them in a way that pleases them.

I'm glad she went away and left that seedy world. It's one of the few good things that can be said about France. They respect people's privacy there and let them live their lives in relative peace. Actually, there are a lot of great things about France, but unfortunately, it will be the first in Europe to fall. Two decades, and it's over.

DefCon-Dan's avatar

I can also see them laughing it up at their cocktail parties, but the laugh is on them is it not? They don't even know how pathetic they are living a life of illusion in an industry that is based on illusion and fakery. Although, they must like that illusion and fakery even if they are unaware of it.

Emma Specter, if that's her real name, did choose a fitting stage name in a way?

She is another example of total ugliness, revulsion, and completely vomit inducing.

It seems that may be their intention.

Two decades until the fall of Europe is probably an overestimate. I give it 4 years, just in time for the global collapse and reset.

Yes, a very sad existence. Lots of wealth in pocket, but little in spirit or soul.

The ugly have a penchant for destroying the beautiful. It's all they know.

DefCon-Dan's avatar

Maybe it is just basic jealousy?

They hate their own ugliness, so they want to destroy beauty?

What better way to do that than to work for 'Vogue' where she can insult real beauty while getting paid for doing it.

It probably goes far deeper than that, in a dark reptilian sort of way.

I'm noticing that people like her too often find their way into positions where they can inflict maximum damage and insult.

I've also noticed that most of those people like her are very ugly too, so it's not just her. Especially the pathetic gender confused ones who leave us guessing what they are, whose correct pronoun is "it" or "what is that".

Veronica Baker's avatar

I'm so glad I never had a "favourite" anyone to become an icon I invested my daily life into, it all seems so sad and pathetic, the world is getting to the point where the stage all the fakery is played upon, will be more crowded than the audiences looking on, I wonder what happens then?

Yes, poor France, it has the UK across from it ramping up the war talk and a large part of the population falling for the misinformation going around here. Then Germany the other side of France doing the same as the UK, possibly even worse, or maybe it's because here in England they don't shout about there plans etc; so loud and unless you actually live here, you will be unaware of half of what is really going on. It has ever been that way.

Another good one Citizen.

That is quite a wild convergence of circumstances. Perhaps not random or unguided.

I remember her name, and that the name denoted sex symbol, but nothing else about her. Yikes. What a specimen. God created women indeed. He also created clothes for Eve, after humanity became keenly aware of nakedness. Seems Brigitte didn't mind eschewing that disempowering and unenlightened concept - covering one's nakedness. She wasn't letting the world watch while she or someone else penetrated her anus though, was she? A prude by 2026 standards.

Directly related to your above piece, I've been sharing this one around. I thought of you as I was reading it. Like much of your work, I found this to be a real face acher. Mr. Virgil's piece as well as The Two Cities podcast in general, speak to the spectacle you allude to in substantial detail. Some insights you may find worthwhile.

It's enough to wish for a time machine to share such wisdom with myself, even a few years ago...

β€œLook!” he exclaimed, β€œlook there, do you see the young man at the City’s gates, about to leave? Why observe how he has supped for too long on all its filth and rotten whoredoms: and he is now ready to depart indeed. And yet observe, there goes out to the gate to meet him a guide. But if you look closely, on the guide’s cape is the insignia of that City’s King, do you see? He is a false guide indeed, and he has been appointed by the Prince of the City to convince the young man not to leave. See, watch how he agrees with all the wearied pilgrim’s concerns, and measures them only ever so slightly, and dilutes them only by the smallest seasoning of equivocation, and adds in but a sprinkle of poison. And then the young man is now made content to remain in the City, and he has neither uncovered its secrets, nor extricated himself from the City, do you see? Watch as he goes back to the scrying mirrors of the City placated but even more confused, and watch how he speaks into them. But his scattered diatribes about the City’s vile whoredoms, only serve to make the City wax stronger and stronger”.

Wonderful stuff on Brand. Hahaa!

β€œWhhattt-ittt-isss-yeeeeah,” went on the Prophet, β€œwhat-it-izzz-yeahhh, is that we need to completely dis-establish-ment-arianize the establish-ment-arianized structures, superstructures, and outrageously bureaucratic cantilevers of autocratic managerial overlying, and underlying, if ya know what I mean”, he winked at the gathered audience, β€œPoww-aaaahhhh!” And the people did much applaud the prophet and I saw him then do a great many baptisms to much adulation, in their most Holy river that is named Thames. But when I ventured closer and beheld the water he sanctified his disciples in, I to my horror saw it was polluted through with much effluent. And I looked at the great prophet’s arm and I saw the number 33 engraved in his very flesh and I wondered at this mutilation. β€œThe Brand is branded: what portends it guide?” I asked my dear Virgil, but he remained silent, as if it was not for me to know these things at this time.

Jen Young's avatar

His Brand stuff was gold!! Laughed so hard. β€œRussell Brand's a psyop targeted at the people that were new age, but now I'm not. So l'm going to wear no clothes. Russell Brand wears no clothes all the time. This whole thing is ridiculous. You know, Russell Brand are supposedly like Christian Guy wears no clothes. This isn't he doesn't have like this is like it's the inverse of the spirit of modesty, but you've got a different psyop targeted at different groups.”

He’s really got all their numbers: Delingpole, Icke, Tucker, Candice, etc. β€œYou know we have turned away from God and we are witnessing the effects of a of a dechristianized society. The devil knows that. So he's created a vast plethora of naturalist false messiahs for us to tune into and listen to and you know greedily sort of suffer the feet of their nonsense diatribes on YouTube and develop a parasocial relationship with them.”

And all the public baptisms of certain people, being pushed by algorithms. I recently saw one of that harlot who laid on her back for 1000 men in a day, less than a year ago but now she's magically cleansed of her whoring? It's all so jewish it's beyond profane.

Glad to hear you found the piece worthwhile.

The Two Cities Podcast can require some focus, and a good dictionary. The host and his guests are usually going fairly deep with philosophy, theology and other abstractions. And as I say, there isn't any individual whose viewpoints I can fully endorse all the time. But I've gained some insights listening to these guys.

If you've the time or the interest, here's another gentleman doing societal analysis, again from a traditional Roman Catholic perspective. If you do look at this link, I'll apologize in advance for Dr. Haugen's poor use of lighting and camera. He looks for all the world like a pixar Minion - a giant glowing bespectacled face looming out of a pitch black background. I wish someone would clue him in. Regardless his channel is mostly audio - he uses visuals sparingly, so you don't necessarily need to be distracted by the rather ridiculous visual presentation. He is very articulate and able to communicate his analysis effectively.

After reading this, I watched "Memento" again (first time was many years ago); thanks for the reminder about this movie. One thing that struck me this time was that Leonard used his intuition to determine the truth, not just his tattoos, Polaroids, and notes. That was how he was able to write on the back of Teddy's picture, "DON'T BELIEVE HIS LIES", after Teddy had just given him a made-up narrative. I think that very thing when I see pictures of people like Fauci, to name just one of many.

Dag, GC, I look forward to your posts like no others. Damn near choked on my coleslaw a few times. You do have a way with adjectives, I'll tell you that. Definitely on the same page as my children will attest to as they turn away in embarrassment when I speak to their friends, but hey, age is just a number. Sometimes they think ahead, usually a female trait, and issue an advisory before introductions with "Brace yourself".

Every day I consider myself quite astute and every day something gets by me, yup, they got me, I believe their shit for the day and then get bak on track. Since I know they're lying because their lips are moving, my default is now WHY they are lying. I'm getting so good at this shit, it takes minutes to see the why. Gotta give credit it's due, these fuckers are smart, but sloppy. Sloppy as a bloodhound drinking water. Sloppy as my son trying to lie his way out of dope sniffing dogs finding his weed in a cabin safe on a cruise ship at 14.

Saw right through the Boston bombing, juvenile to the max, Sandy Hook, Florida gay bar, Vegas, Epstein's doing fine and sends regards from Satanyahoo land. Charlie Kirk, still haven't seen evidence of his death. This Ukie/Ruskie war, Maduro, Iran nonsense. Only 2ways these 3 are gonna end. Trump just tripled his net worth in just a year and paid off all previous bankruptcies so he's flush now. We'll see. His greed knows no bounds, but he ain't Superman.

Weed in a cabin safe on a cruise ship at 14? Hahaa. And I thought I did some daring things in my youth.

They're sloppy and arrogant. Something related to the revelation of the method and all that. They have to tell us what they're doing, before they do it, as a visual consent that it's coming, because nobody bothered to stop them. A strange game. Unless one is a satanic psychopath.

Ahh, Agent Orange. Far worse and more subversive than most imagined. Probably as toxic as the defoliage campaigns, but monetarily and demographically, it's why his kosher ass was chosen. I don't suspect they'll ever choose somebody...well...good, or wholesome, or with any redeeming qualities of a true noble statesman.

CM Maccioli's avatar

Yup, that was my boy. He was already in custody when I got the call to go to the pursers office. A young couple who got married on the ship saved their bridal purse for their wedding night and opened up a card saying, have a nice honeymoon, with a little reefer tucked inside. They also were standing in front of the powdered wig.

The kicker was we were on a British island, home to the greatest opium dealers in the world. All I can say is thank God we weren't in China.

At 22, when we did get to China, I told him if he even thought of repeating this escapade in China, mommy dearest would not be able to bail him out as before and that I would have to leave China without him. He listened.

At the risk of completely bottoming out at the base of a rabbit hole, I do wonder if they've found a way to be fucking with us.

I get the search-linked marketing, I get the social media comments and profile scraping, I get the Alexa listening.

What I don't get is how it works when none of those factors are present. When a subsequent experience seems pegged to thought alone.

I've had a few of those Brigitte Bardot moments. I remember one day I was thinking about the phrase β€œuncanny valley” (fairly obscure and not common parlance). Within 24 hours I get served up 3 articles on three different topics, but all containing that phrase.

Last Christmas day I was thinking about my mother and her passing, and within a day YT served me up an Ave Maria - the only song she was quite sure she wanted played (and was played) at her funeral.

More mundane examples:

4 years ago, after breaking a filling, I thought I would just call into the dentist that I drove by every day on my way to work. I didn't Google anything, I didn't mention it to anyone, I just thought it - but within a day or two I start getting dental ads.

Another dental-related story; recently I chipped the same tooth, and as I'm brushing my teeth, I'm thinking β€œFFS. I've had Mrs Marsh's poisonous fluoridated water my entire life. By now my teeth should be as hard as diamonds, but instead they're crumbling”.

Just that single thought. No Googling. No conversation. No phone call.

A day later an article pops up titled β€œCouple forced to choose between their home or crumbling teeth”. (Lol).

Like WTF??

Good, True & Beautiful's avatar

Its like our thoughts are being monitored or perhaps its a demonstration of our creative power in the simulation - what ever it is it is completely freaky. I am having numbers, nearly everytime I look at a clock or phone its like 13.13 or 22.22 or 10.10 I thought the first couple of times, oh look at that what a coincidence but it keeps on happening for last 3/4 months.

Sez77's avatar

That is freaky. James Bond author Ian Fleming wrote in Goldfinger - β€œOnce is happenstance. Twice is coincidence. The third time it's enemy action.”

At this point in history - with the James Giordano’s and Alex Karp’s in ascendancy - I don't discount anything. Recall it was just a couple of years ago that people were beginning to suspect their phones were listening in on private conversations, which turned out to be true.

All I can say is if they've mastered creation of my timeline based on my thoughts alone, I'll be looking forward to my β€œMultiple Global Leaders Arrested and Imprisoned Pending Treason Trials” article. πŸ˜‰

What an excellent, interesting read! Thank you for giving me some of my brain cells back.

I have always loved Bardot. I read a biography about her years ago. She was one tough cookie…I mean croissant.

She bowed out at a young age, and simply wanted her privacy respected-she despised the paparazzi.

Her love of animals was profound.

Thank you for the imaginative commentary!
