As a female who was once childbearing age, I'd like to offer some insight into the abortion issue. Disclosure: never been pregnant, never had an abortion. Know a handful of people who have had abortions.
For women still in high school/college: they are simply scared. They have plans that will now be put aside. They will have responsibilities they do not want. They may not be able to finish college or have their "career" that they were promised. Their family might abandon them, as will their baby daddy. In their minds, they see themselves alone without a home or money, but with a child they cannot provide for adequately. They might even be terrified of the pain of childbirth and what it will do to their bodies. Even if adoption is an option, no one talks about the 9 months that they have to go through. Abortion/ morning after pill gives them an easy solution. It gives their family an easy solution.
For older women: A big inconvenience. Might ruin their body. Baby daddy might or might not stick around. Travel plans? Gone. Fun with the girls? Gone. Career progression? Gone. Economic stability? Gone. Lots of negatives, no positives in their viewpoint.
Society has made abortion a quick and easy solution, and does not offer ANY other solutions, like adoption. Society has also made it very easy for the baby daddy to shirk his responsibilities. I know just as many men with illegitimate children they did not pay for as I know women who have had abortions.
Women, especially young women, are not shown that a child can be blessing, and see it as a curse for bad behavior. They don't want their easy solution to go away. They see the lack of abortion access as the government/ white men trying to ruin their lives and their future.
It's a complicated issue that I probably shouldn't have included. with many psychological variables you've pointed to that have been socially engineered and astroturfed in our nihilistic anti-human culture. But the issue is spoken of now as if a baby magically appears inside the womb in every instance and there is no reflection on personal responsibility, choices made and the consequences of those choices, especially regarding the life of another human. (I'm not including rape or incest). There was a time in the 90s (last I can remember) that people still discussed abstinence as the best policy, then various forms of contraception, and so on.
Eventually it became about "WOMEN'S RIGHTS!" which it is not. There is no right to take another life, especially after a certain timeline has been crossed. Life becomes cheapened and we end up at post-birth abortions as compeletely acceptable for "WOMEN'S RIGHTS!" The debate has been framed this way intentionally by the masters of western destruction and their useful idiots (like feminists) to put the liberty of women at the forefront of the many 'inconveniences' you mentioned, and to view offspring as a burden to their life goals of the fierce independent woman who is going to get that corner office like Melanie Griffith in Working Girl.
Have you seen all those tiktoks of young women bragging about their tenth and twentieth abortions as if they go to some baby killing drive thru? Didn't the Demonrat party park an abortion bus outside of Kamala rallies the past few months? It's not only sickening, it's very very sad. Take women out of the household and gain a whole new demographic of taxpayers etc. etc. More government money that can be looted. My sisters & I were criminally & mentally abused growing up by both parents. The extended family told themselves & others "well, it's different when it's your own kids" & they were right. My eldest sister remembered as a toddler being picked by her hair & "bounced off walls." My mother wasn't stupid enough to do that to someone else's kid.
I am a child of God. He intervened in the abortion, also stopped my sister from drowning me when I was 1, & stopped my father from killing me in a ptsd episode when I was 5. When I was 14 & locked out in the street when they went away for weekends, he helped me find a way in. Saved me from septicemia gone septic tgat Har VC ard Health dr dismissed as all in my head. Saved me in 3 accidents when I should have been killed, & protected me from 3 dog attacks, the 3rd a pack of pit bulls.

I would add that if middle school science class, say 7th grade required all students to watch video of an actual abortion, which is about as barbaric a procedure that exists in the world, the entire abortion rights movement would collapse. That 350k immigrant children (under 14?) have gone unaccounted for inside the U.S. the past 4 years alone says it all. I recall boarding a plane last year in Tucson and seeing kids being escorted by adults that were not their parents through TSA withe DHS paperwork and no passports. Child trafficking on a massive scale. Sad and dark stuff.
Women of all ages are loathe to take responsibility for their own actions. Pregnancy is no exception. They want to make it seem like an "accident." Oops! Let's get real. It very rarely happens unless the woman WANTS or ALLOWS it to happen. Women are in control of where the man blows his load. Had enough to survive, lived on unemployment half the year in Mom's basement. Or in a makeshift apartment over a garage. Or in a trailer with a bunch of roommates.
