Adoption as an option is often ignored. Also the role of the man in pregnancies as you mentioned, with too many jumping ship. The entire issue of children in the U.S. is just depressing. That 350k immigrant children (under 14?) have gone unaccounted for inside the U.S. the past 4 years alone says it all. I recall boarding a plane last year in Tucson and seeing kids being escorted by adults that were not their parents through TSA withe DHS paperwork and no passports. Child trafficking on a massive scale. Sad and dark stuff.
Women of all ages are loathe to take responsibility for their own actions. Pregnancy is no exception. They want to make it seem like an "accident." Oops! Let's get real. It very rarely happens unless the woman WANTS or ALLOWS it to happen. Women are in control of where the man blows his load. Women are in control of whether any penetration takes place at all, let alone unprotected - except in those cases of forcible rape, which I don't believe are as common in heritage white American population as we would be led to believe.
