Thanks for this piece but some of the doomerism might be premature. Take this statement :"The tyranny Washingtonians and New Yorkers experience with covid passes, mask mandates, vaccine mandates and silly unscientific impositions will eventually be felt by Texans and Floridians." And yet registered Rs passed registered Ds in Florida for the first time ever in the last few months. For now it's shaping up to be a Right flight. If you want to argue the Ds will eventually catch up well maybe, but, those Ds love their gimp masks and their state directives and may just stay put. AFAICT they are busy claiming NYC and SF are still great places to live.

Initially yes. I'm optimistic about places like florida. But give it a few more years. Destabilizing forces are at work engineering chaos. An internal migration crisis would not be good for any red state. Many states that were once R turned D from California flight including Nevada Oregon and Washington. Arizona and Georgia apparently voted D. I doubt it but that's another thing... This also assumes an uncorrupted electoral process with machines tied to the Internet and mail in ballots. If they can engineer the tyranny we're seen around the world for the sniffles somehow I don't think they'll blink twice to flip a county here and there.

Sam Francisco has always been the worst shithole

Now more than ever since London Breed locked it up

Can't walk half a block without seeing needles and now discarded masks litter the streets where people are forced to live out on in the freezing rain and cold

Nothing great about this city except the greatest lies and Arrogance

SF is jail
