It’s easy to ‘other’ Russia and, guessing that most of your readers are westerners like me, easy to subconsciously demonise Russia and Russians, their country, people, politics, leaders, culture etc. as “the baddies”. This propaganda driven belief is do engrained in our western socialisation and psyche that a lemming like indoctrinated population won’t even question it.
The slightest testing of the west’s justification or challenge to its historical strategy in Ukraine is immediately met with standard shut-down talk of Putin sympathy. Putin is a thug, that’s not in doubt. But which leader would you prefer yours to be? One who argues for the rights of his country as he does or one who can’t tell the difference between his autocue and his elbow.
We, westerners, are being driven to an irreversible societal abyss with both increasing speed and nonchalance by a corrupt global regime that is no longer concerned with nuanced persuasion. We are on the express train to Totalitarianism Central calling briefly at Coercion Station.
The jury is still out on the Kremlin’s true allegiance to the globalist agenda. But it isn’t in the west.
Good response to GCs brilliant post on Putin’s stellar speech, but why do you junk it up with “Putin is a thug, that’s not in doubt”? Maybe leaving the hackneyed Western centric mindset will help us all bust out of its prison
You’re right. I seem to be caveating my position with an unnecessary justification and characterising Putin as a thug may be unfair (I don’t know the chap personally). An unfortunate legacy of attempting to carry friends at least into an argument about the truth and heading off the mental shut down that happens with professional kool-aid drinking enthusiasts with their fix binary views.
Leave that to one side and the next point is relevant. We do know that western so called democratic governments have virtually all been captured by the central bank globalist cabal, that much at least is not in doubt. I don’t know with certainty where Putin and the Kremlin is on Klaus’ ideology. Nor Xi Jinping and the CCP for that matter. Are these all would be different sides of the same global power/wealth coin?
Perhaps someone can enlighten me. Was Putin one of the WEF Young Leaders? I can’t find the reference to this but I believe that his name was quietly removed from the WEF list (even more annoying I haven’t got time to check right now if it has or even if it was ever on it). I seem to recall a photograph of Putin & Schwab shaking hands but that means nothing.
We need to resist accepting the binary tribes being presented to us by the deep state puppet masters. No to centralised control over anything ever.
It’s okay. I’ve seen a reference to it too but likewise have never gone in for the simple reason that Russian intelligence could well have entered him in to gather intel.
And thanks for your last comment on binary tribes and puppet masters. “No to centralized control over anything ever.” ✨Cheers
Thanks for an enlightened response and I know it is the binary views guys we’re sometimes wanting to assuage. I agree with you and yes the jury is still out on your last points. Encouraging now to have many of us coming together to bring light to it. Special thanks to GC
