At the water cooler of ACME Mortgages Inc., my first Office Space job with TPS reports and Hawaiian shirt days...sometime in 2004, a gaggle of numb skulls confronted me in the break room: "I heard you're against the Iraq war. How could you not want revenge for what they did to us on 9/11?"
I knew right then I couldn't stay. I was packed and gone off the continent within 18 months.
History repeats, and sometimes all you can do is laugh at those who still don't know how or why, and especially those who just don't care either way.
The inconvenience of overturning so many stones only to find the same culprits behind so many of the world's problems is one they have programmed us to assume as a burden, and to suffer, though this is only a recent phenomenon. When deprogrammed from all that, I do believe most arrive at the same vision of heaven you have described, and a place that generally vindicates those whom we were told were the "most evil."
