Once again, brilliant. The nature of this war, as you rightly point out, is not as explicit, not clearly delineated as past conflicts. Yet this conflict is more like a global autoimmune disorder or cancer rather than a defending of a sovereign boarder. And part of the inability to see the enemy could be expressed in part, by a proverb I'd used recently... "The forest was shrinking but the trees kept voting for the axe as its handle was made of wood and they thought it was one of them.”

Thanks. I remember reading that some weeks ago at your place and then rereading it several more times. Excellent proverb πŸ‘

Wow Good Citizen. That is a fantastic piece. Thank you. thank you

You have elegantly summarized what seems to be unfolding. Such clarity! Supported by excellent examples that I will research to learn more for myself.

I am sharing this everywhere. Thank you for sharing your gift of communication.

Wonderfully brilliant article! Perhaps consider the actual definition of anarchy. It simply means 'no rulers' although most use it to mean chaos, which it isn't. We must find a way to have order without rulers. Unimpeded prosperity will be part of the solution.

Thank you. Yes, I'm using it more for anarcho-tyranny, the Samuel Francis managerial state definition.

Despite my personal shortcomings, I try to be the noble shepherd as much as possible. My blue state workplace is still fully engaged in the plandemic theater, so I am the actor who doesn't wear a mask *outdoors* or jump to the other side of the sidewalk when passing another human being. It's a lonely battle most of the time, but screaming back and forth only makes it worse IMO

Fuck the sheep.

Ask any rancher from now back to the dawn of time what they do with livestock that are intractably given over to aggression and self-destructive behavior.

I'm not suggesting anyone be "culled," but I'll be damned if I'm going to expend a drop of energy or compassion on them. I hate people that hate me.

Desmond Doss' story is a great one, one with which I'm already familiar, and it's a lovely story of moral integrity.

It would also have been a very short story if the rest of Doss' company weren't actively engaged in killing the enemy trying to kill Doss.

I hear you Guttermouth. Not all sheep hate, or even know they're sheep or need be. Doss tried to save two injured Japanese soldiers. That is the pinnacle of moral courage.

There is almost always a genetic component to behavior. I wonder to what extent 'sheep' genetics are going to be culled from Europeans in the coming genetic bottleneck. Between the vax and propaganda, sheep reproduction will be severely curtailed. Plus whatever else is coming that might lead to disparate survival outcomes.

Off-topic but on-topic. So how are things in Poland? I'm currently in South-East Asia, but looking to relocate. Have time (years) in West Africa, Middle East, and various Asia -- but no serious time on the ground in Europe. If you have any insights to share, please do someday in a post. Thanking you in advance.

Poland is great. For now. Everything is fluid in the EU so we'll see. If they dodge the covid pass madness of france, italy, austria, and ease up on the Russia sabre rattling I'll stick around. If not there's Hungary, Mexico or other places on my radar. You in Thailand, vietnam?

Cambodia. Simple residency visa process. Legal, no hassle no border runs. Was heading elsewhere, and then Covid restrictions hit big time. So gigging remote. Doing okay, but not looking or planning to stay. Plenty of expats in 'Nam, but lots of dancing around with the residency status. Not for me. Thailand has cracked down on the broke-ass sexpats, for which I do not blame them. Although I am libertarian when it comes to how other people live their lives, I do understand why certain nations prefer internationals who won't be begging on streets. It's not a morality thing but a public resource thing. Also some real political tensions in Thailand, and Chiang Mai no longer lotus land. Have meet of number of expat refugees from Thailand. Though I'm sure there's always -- always -- flow.

A long read, but certainly worth the effort. And considerable effort and good writing on your part to provide the experience. Since you offered a Kipling reference, I will politely offer one back. He was commenting on the leadership and incompetence which resulted in WWI.

If any question why we died,

Tell them, because our fathers lied.

We need only a brief change for much of the American debacle, and pending more info on the lab leak, perhaps much of the global debacle as well.

It's always helpful to have photos of the evil people in articles that discuss their evil intentions. I've often noticed that evil people look like assholes, if not like outright monsters. Even those who, at first glance may seem a little bit attractive, inevitably reveal their repellent features.

I have also, during political campaigns, noticed that it's easy to call the winners of primaries in advance by grading candidates on how much they look like assholes. The ones who look most like assholes are usually the ones who "get the nod" as the political pundits say. The more human looking candidates usually have no chance at all.

Of course that's a shallow observation, but I've found it to be reliable.
