Once again, brilliant. The nature of this war, as you rightly point out, is not as explicit, not clearly delineated as past conflicts. Yet this conflict is more like a global autoimmune disorder or cancer rather than a defending of a sovereign boarder. And part of the inability to see the enemy could be expressed in part, by a proverb I'd used recently... "The forest was shrinking but the trees kept voting for the axe as its handle was made of wood and they thought it was one of them.”

Thanks. I remember reading that some weeks ago at your place and then rereading it several more times. Excellent proverb πŸ‘

Wow Good Citizen. That is a fantastic piece. Thank you. thank you

You have elegantly summarized what seems to be unfolding. Such clarity! Supported by excellent examples that I will research to learn more for myself.

I am sharing this everywhere. Thank you for sharing your gift of communication.

Wonderfully brilliant article! Perhaps consider the actual definition of anarchy. It simply means 'no rulers' although most use it to mean chaos, which it isn't. We must find a way to have order without rulers. Unimpeded prosperity will be part of the solution.

Thank you. Yes, I'm using it more for anarcho-tyranny, the Samuel Francis managerial state definition.

Wow. Compelling writing. Thank you! I plan on reading that through again.

Despite my personal shortcomings, I try to be the noble shepherd as much as possible. My blue state workplace is still fully engaged in the plandemic theater, so I am the actor who doesn't wear a mask *outdoors* or jump to the other side of the sidewalk when passing another human being. It's a lonely battle most of the time, but screaming back and forth only makes it worse IMO

Great article. Too deep for the ignorant masses but some of us can comprehend the meaning.

Off-topic but on-topic. So how are things in Poland? I'm currently in South-East Asia, but looking to relocate. Have time (years) in West Africa, Middle East, and various Asia -- but no serious time on the ground in Europe. If you have any insights to share, please do someday in a post. Thanking you in advance.

Poland is great. For now. Everything is fluid in the EU so we'll see. If they dodge the covid pass madness of france, italy, austria, and ease up on the Russia sabre rattling I'll stick around. If not there's Hungary, Mexico or other places on my radar. You in Thailand, vietnam?

Cambodia. Simple residency visa process. Legal, no hassle no border runs. Was heading elsewhere, and then Covid restrictions hit big time. So gigging remote. Doing okay, but not looking or planning to stay. Plenty of expats in 'Nam, but lots of dancing around with the residency status. Not for me. Thailand has cracked down on the broke-ass sexpats, for which I do not blame them. Although I am libertarian when it comes to how other people live their lives, I do understand why certain nations prefer internationals who won't be begging on streets. It's not a morality thing but a public resource thing. Also some real political tensions in Thailand, and Chiang Mai no longer lotus land. Have meet of number of expat refugees from Thailand. Though I'm sure there's always -- always -- flow.

A long read, but certainly worth the effort. And considerable effort and good writing on your part to provide the experience. Since you offered a Kipling reference, I will politely offer one back. He was commenting on the leadership and incompetence which resulted in WWI.

We need only a brief change for much of the American debacle, and pending more info on the lab leak, perhaps much of the global debacle as well.

It's always helpful to have photos of the evil people in articles that discuss their evil intentions. I've often noticed that evil people look like assholes, if not like outright monsters. Even those who, at first glance may seem a little bit attractive, inevitably reveal their repellent features.

I have also, during political campaigns, noticed that it's easy to call the winners of primaries in advance by grading candidates on how much they look like assholes. The ones who look most like assholes are usually the ones who "get the nod" as the political pundits say. The more human looking candidates usually have no chance at all.

Of course that's a shallow observation, but I've found it to be reliable.

Yes, I agree. I'm used to being accused of being shallow when I point it out, though.

Another powerful piece, and you are absolutely right. Although now I fear that with the veil being lifted and more people than ever are beginning to see through it, that they will shift to a new phase in their strategy. I fear they will abandon their quickly dying pandemic schemes and bury it as fast as they can in favor of a real, physical war between nations that they seem hellbent on pressuring Russia to kickstart. Like you, I am also living in Poland and fear that we soon might find ourselves on doorstep of war.

CzeΕ›Δ‡ Winston. It would not be a good thing for this part of the world but I suspect Russia is too much like the fox to become the Lion at the begging of the predictable west. Working on a piece on that, many complex variables. On the other thing, abandoning the past two years...I worry that our short attention spans and inability to focus on any one thing for too long will give them this victory of forgetting their horrors. There's no going back, no turning it off after these atrocities. For some maybe, but not those who have ceased being sheep.

Winston Smith's avatar

I don't think that Russia desires war either and will not be easily fooled. But I also wouldn't be surprised if our "esteemed" coalition of forces stooped so low as to stage some kind of false flag event that they could blame on Russia and therefore can claim a "legitimate" reason to enter into a war. As far as the short attention spans, that is also by their design I'm afraid. And most people, even some who have woken up to what is currently going on, fail to realize or don't remember that they tried to design a global pandemic back in 2009 with the swine flu, only back then they didn't control the media as they did today and so therefore their plans failed miserably.

π™‚π™Šπ™Šπ˜Ώ π˜Ύπ™„π™π™„π™•π™€π™‰'s avatar

Good points. The false flag set ups are already flying high. "Russia's planning this.." "The US is planning this fake attack..." "US intel says Russia is planning..." When nobody believes anything any state actors say, they can all say whatever they want. Our post-propaganda world. Yes, a lot of people don't even remember the US govt attacking their own people with anthrax in 01' after the commercial jet liners did their thing. They haven't needed to control the media so much this century, they've always been either obedient lap dogs or reflexive copy machines or echo chambers for power. The intel agencies have 99% control over their offices now. The head of the CIA goes for breakfast at the WaPo offices each morning and they share editorial stories that get the thumbs up or down.

Zorost's avatar

I don't think Russia wants war either, but when BOTH sides are shouting that the other side is planning a false flag event I get worried.

On the bright side, I don't think TPTB are dumb enough to cross the Russian border thereby triggering nukes and civilization-ending targeting. Ideally they'd want Russia to invade the Ukraine so the costs are mostly on them, but if that fails I wouldn't put it past those calling the shots to invade/ "liberate" Ukraine with NATO troops. A good old-fashioned proxy war like Vietnam is what the MIC profit margins and TPTB narrative control need.
