I paused “a man's search for meaning” audiobook that I am listening to at the moment ( https://dailyprogress.org ), to read this article.

Compelled service offends me greatly.

Just as compelled speech, injections, religion, or anything else, is reprehensible.

I am happy to fight, suffer, and die for that which I choose. I fear not death, but rather I fear the acceptance of a compelled existence that I have no say in, no control over, because another in a position of “power” says I have no rights, no personal agency.

We live in a world that has been run by psychopaths for centuries. A war to end all wars will be when the normal people take on the mind set of the psychopaths for a short while and purge them from our existence. There are many more normal people then those who are psychopathic control freaks. When we finally rise up against them we just may have some peace until more mutants come from the wombs of the unsuspecting. There is a way to know now...who they will be, what they are.

Agreed. If it is a just war, one where the survival of our country is at stake, there should be enough volunteers to defend the realm. If not, perhaps it is better that way. If the powers that be have failed to convince the military-age people that continuing to have them in charge is better than whatever the invaders have to offer, maybe the would-be defenders are right.

I first heard that point of view from an invited guest speaker of the College Republicans in my first year at a state university, from a member of the Objectivist Society (Ayn Rand). I'd long thought that it was innately contradictory to enslave people in the name of protecting their freedom, but this was the first time I heard someone else say it.

The College Republicans didn't agree with the Objectivists on a broad variety of issues, and I would imagine that was one of them. Still, they invited Objectivists to come make their pitch. No protests or catcalls or attempts to drown out the speaker... just people listening and either agreeing or disagreeing politely.

I thought that was what higher education was supposed to be about. Hear other viewpoints, give 'em a fair shot, think about whether you had it wrong. While the leftist capture of academia was well underway by this point, it was before the collapse of the USSR and the resultant "taking our eye off the ball" when everyone thought the threat of socialism and communism had ended, which only caused the leftists to accelerate their efforts. The regime that spawned the subversive movement within western countries was gone, but it didn't mean the radicalized fellow travelers suddenly decided they were wrong and embraced capitalism.

The old men get profit and power, the young men are cannon fodder.

There is no glory in being cannon fodder.

No, he's talking about the old men who sent young men to die in the War of Southern Independence, in WW I, in WW II, in Vietnam, in Korea, in the streets of the US as "law enforcers", in the wars of aggression in Afghanistan, Somalia, Yemen, Cambodia, Laos, the Philippines, Granada, Iraq, Libya, Syria...the places are endlessly filled with the blood of innocents. WHY? Because we don't use our arms to eliminate the scum psychopathic control freaks from our midst.

So I have to be specific and say names? I don't think so. My point is obvious.

Expand full comment

You can be as specific, or vague, as you want to. I do understand your point.

It seems to me that you feel betrayed by 'the west' (or however you want to call your country), and want to blame someone. You are placing the blame on everyone, except for the one (old man) who actually ordered his forces to invade and destroy another country, and I find that to be strange. You support freedom, but fail to lay the blame at the feed of one who has consisted denied freedom from hundreds of millions of his own people, and is trying to subjugate tens of millions more.

I would expect an adult to know that people and leaders (and governments) are not perfect, and it would be childish to be disappointed by their unrealistic expectations. In this case, the 'good/bad people on both sides' may actually be relevant. But don't let this 'Nirvana fallacy' keep us from calling out the atrocities, that we know are happening.

I'm sure you will have plenty of chances to call other countries for their acts, as well.

Expand full comment

Well, you can suck up to the propaganda if you like. Which you obviously are doing, but if you look at REALITY the reason the Russians invaded was to OUST the not so old con man running the Ukraine. He was allowing the continual bombardment of the RUSSIAN people of Doobas (sp) and was warned over and over and of course you don't read that side of the narrative. You've got it in your mind that Putin just woke up one day and decided to invade the Ukraine. That's bullshit. He wants the NAZI'S OUT of the Ukraine and he has acknowledged the SUCCESSION of the Doobas region and is PROTECTING them. I've been following this on Telegram and frankly I'm GLAD that those Russians in that region are being helped because 14,000 of them lost their lives to the coke addict running the Ukraine INTO the GROUND. And the USA is the biggest terrorist threat to the entire planet. Just in case you haven't figured that out yet. FUCK the "the leadership" of this country. You have to be MAD to go along with their horseshit.

Yeah, I guess if someone punches me in the face and I retaliate, we both are at fault. Someone punches me in the face and I'm going to kick them up side their head with my size 15 shoe. And I guess according to your reasoning, I'd be wrong to defend myself with aggression against my aggressor. Well you castrated men need to start a club and hang out together. Everything on this planet moves in cycles. The Grand cycle is approximately 25,000 years.

During the grand cycle, humanity cycles up and cycles down. Consciousness cycles up and cycles down. We are in the midst of the Kali Yuga, the great age of darkness. Things that are happening on this planet can only happen during this cycle of darkness and depravity, and cannot be stopped. The good news is that in the 2020s the Kali Yuga comes to an end, and all the darkness is swept away in the Great Purification, as the Light begins to return. Everything is happening right on schedule. The planet earth is a tough school. I like to call it the Paris Island of the cosmos. Everything in life is about making choices and learning the lessons that come with said choices.

Yes, Gates and globalists want to block the sun, because it is the giver of life. It is also the great destroyer. The Ancients knew this, but modern man/woman is blind. The predominant state on the planet throughout history is cold: (ice ages and mini-ice ages) punctuated by brief periods of warning (like the one we enjoy now). We are headed for a sever cooling period, and a magnetic pole shift as part of the Great Purification. Volcanoes will erupt and the earth will quake. This is what will crush the plans of the globalists. They will win for awhile, but as the Game of Thrones so elegantly phrased it: "Winter is coming."

It is all a test. Every moment of every day, it is a test. Do we choose to embrace the darkness or walk in the light? During some cycles the choices are harder. During the Kali Yuga the choices are the most difficult, because human beings have spiraled down and all around us is chaos. It one passed the test during the Kali Yuga, this ensures a geeat leap in spiritual evolution for the graduate. That is why your higher Self has chosen for you to incarnate now.

In flyover country, that is expected, so chemtrails, containing graphene oxide, heavy metals, nematodes, and goodness knows what else are employed.

Agree. And why didn’t the citizens of Ukraine remove the monster, why haven’t we removed our monsters...........behind all wars are citizens who allowed the monsters to flourish to make the next war.

Expand full comment

For the same reason Macaroon, Turdeau, and a number of others have not been removed: people are powerless; they have always been but failed to notice it, while on a longer leash.

You forgot Putin...

Expand full comment

No, I didn't; just didn't want to get into useless arguments with anyone.

The "world leaders" are in this together. The Presidents of Tanzania, Burundi, and Haiti didn't bite the bait (hundreds of millions of dollars in "aid," linked to enslaving conditions) and didn't last long after that. Belarus survived without any covid theater and they are among the fake opposition with Putin (who nevertheless, enforced a lot of crazy mandates and their injection is not much less lethal than the western versions and is certainly chock-full of graphene oxide and certain events suggest that graphene hydroxide is also used sometimes).

Expand full comment

So Putin is in this together with Zelensky? I must have missed that

Expand full comment

And with the rest of the "world leaders." Don't feel bad about it; many people have missed, and are still missing, that.

Expand full comment

And they stand right next to them, capable of killing them on the spot and protect their sorry asses.

Expand full comment

Because they, as opposed to you, are aware of the Russian bear that will swallow them whole.

I recommend reading up on the atrocities inflicted (and still being inflicted) by the Russian/Soviet occupation on the many peoples of the region. The countries of the Warsaw Pact know the cost of failure that you call for.

Expand full comment

The average Ukrainian has been living under one of the most corrupt and oppressive regimes in the world for decades. As opposed to what you see on TV, they don't "hate Russians." They surely hate Stalin, but Stalin killed tens of millions of Russians, too.

The satellite states cost too much for the Soviets without any palpable benefits, so they let them go after they rationalized their domestic and foreign policies, but they had to go through the years of corruption after breaking up their union, while people were starving and everything for up to the grab for western "investors" (aka. vultures). The same process happened in most satellite states (the Czech Republic is a notable exception) and many East Germans now would prefer the GDR over "freedom." In Hungary, more people froze to death in the first winter of "freedom" than the number of people the communists executed after 1956.

The US cannot be very proud of its current situation, either.

Expand full comment

And yet, it is a freer, and more democratic, country than Russia (or Belarus...). And you are willing to give up on them and give them away. Don't you think that (imperfect) freedom is something worth fighting for?

FYI: Ukraine is rated 122 in the 2021 Corruption Perceptions Index (CPI), 14 places above Russia, and 143 in the Global Peace Index (GPI), 12 places above Russia. In the 2021 Democracy Index, Ukraine (classified as 'Hybrid regime') is ranked at 86, with Russia (classified as 'Authoritarian') at 124. When it comes to press freedom (2021 World Press Freedom Index), Ukraine is ranked at 97, with Russia at 150.

In spite of Ukraine being (as you said) "one of the most corrupt and oppressive regimes in the world", they have had more regime changes (through elections) than many of the authoritarians round them (such as Russia). Do you think that they want to return to 'Mother Russia'? In spite of this glorious victory, thousands of Russians are leaving their country.

So if you call Ukraine corrupt, what would you call Russia?

Ukraine may not have created a perfect democratic government, but they have made a lot of improvements (as have many other ex-communist countries). Creating a democracy is hard, but freedom is something worth working for. Don't you agree? Why don't we let them find their own way?

You sure swallow the propaganda don't you? And surprisingly haven't chocked to death on it!

Ukraine is one of the worst sh*tholes in the world; the "refugees" from there are indeed fleeing from extreme poverty and uncertainty, and they don't need a war on TV to feel justified about it. In 2014, they did not exactly have an election; instead, foreign mercenaries fired into a crowd and the elected government (well, are there any real elections anywhere?) was routed. The Donbas has been shelled ever since for demanding autonomy, which was against the oligarchs' business interests, the the Azon Battalion et al. were hired to do the job.

Freedom in the US? Most Americans were not even allowed to go about their business without being muzzled like a mad dog for about two years and many lost their jobs, because they refused to comming medical suicide with one of the "mandatory" lethal injections.

During the same two years, the executive branch has been posing as legislative and it all went unchallenged. "Presidential executive orders" have been issued, ignoring constitutional rights, much in the likeness of the way parliaments were circumvented in Eastern Europe under communism.

Please, name a single one of our "liberties" that has not been ignored or even trodded upon...

Who conducted the research and who paid for the statistics you are quoting? On what bases were the results established? How was it possible to measure them?

Democracy, already according to Aristotle, is the rule of the mob. Only constitutional rights can alleviate some of that burden. We call it a Republic around here, but the US Constitution after 2001 became just about as relevant as an old copy of Pravda in an abandoned Siberian outhouse.

Also, "democracy" is probably the most corrupt form of government. What Zelensky has recently "improved" was that he subscribed to the "Great Reset." That, of course, is even worse than "democracy." Okay, you are welcome to name at least ONE of the "improvements" you are talking about. Since Ukraine became independent, Russian, Polish, and Hungarian were forbidden in education. Are you talking about such "improvements"?

Russia, much like the US, is ruled by oligarchs. At least, citizens are not starving. The average monthly wage in Ukraine was around $50-100 a month in the last 30 years...

It seems that not only don't the Ukrainians get your empathy, you are willing to sell them off to the previous rulers. Nice

As for the rest of your post, I lost the train of thought in your argument.

Don't pretend I don't know who you are. My posts are for other people, who still possess the power of thinking.

Ad hominem attacks only debase you, assuming you are not an AI, which you probably are. Or worse, but who cares under the circumstances. If you are a live human being, you are also a victim, even if you still do not know that.

Of course, you are losing your train of thought; apparently, you have not had much of that sort of thing. :)

Oh, and I'm not selling anything. By 2005, I had developed the algorithm that the monsters have been using since 2013, but I never sold it, because I knew that whoever would own it, would own the world.

What most people need to understand that there will be no winners here.

The enforcers, spies, and fake scientists will wear out their usefulness, once the "opposition" is eliminated, and they will be next in line to the slaughterhouse. No matter how much they get paid now, it will not be worth a penny after the installation of the digital currency (fiat money with no backup) that they will be able to access only when their bodies are "online" and only for "good behavior." Their Kill Switch will be included free of charge...

Unless they realize what's awaiting them, humanity doesn't have a chance. Not that it has ever had much, based on human behavior...

Fiat money has backup? EVER? What?

Nobody said it has. :) Yet it does: the enforcers "guarantee" its value...

I understand that Russian is demolishing another country, killing thousand and destroying the lives of millions. Do you?

And I also understand that there are people who, for some reason, don't seem to have any problem with this.

I don't really care what justification you find for failing to call out the atrocities. In the end, it's between you and your conscience.

I wonder, though. Can the American commanders and the Azov nutcases prevent those young Ukrainians from just surrendering? Can't fight a war if the troops just won't fight.

I heard a theory that this is how WWI ended. The soldiers on both sides literally gave up and turned on their governments. How much of the history books can we trust given the lies we all hear now? I really don’t know.

Judge Holden Holds Forth on War (Blood Meridian)

"When God made Man, the Devil was at His elbow."

Absurd. There is no devil. Every moment in time, each individual must make the choice to walk in darkness or embrace the light. It is called free will, and it is a blessing, although for most people it is a curse.

Well said. This would be appropriate for every war since the beginning of time. This war will also help with the depopulation goal of the WEF that COVID did not reach. The defense contractors across the world will become richer as they always do. War is good business for them.

The innocents will do all the suffering.

Yes, the depopulation goal becomes all too obvious now with the engineered food crisis.
