Actually that was a huge reason I for my immediate skepticism. Its an area I long had been researching prior to covid. My blind spot was my faith in humanity assuming more people would catch on before it was too late.

My faith in humanity was absolutely murdered by these 3 years, we lived in a lock down state, fortunately we live 1 mile from a free-state.
To watch the different people on each side of an invisible border was at first hopeful, the right side living free and uncaring, "it is all a lie, it doesn't affect me and I am going to live life normally". And the left side losing their ever loving minds day by day, even though the truth was right across the invisible border.
Most people didn't get to witness daily life on a border of a free/lockdown state. It was humanity 101 for me. So people that judge my lack of empathy and downright disgust with human beings can fuck right off, I was front row in 101-201-301 humanity on display everyday.
I had long thought it was a character flaw of mine that I wasn't a fan of people (in the most general of terms), but the past three years made me re-think that. Gues it was them, not me. As for lockdowns, we had all the standard nonsense here, but I decided to look at the actual policies one day early and to my surprise, they were written in a way to indicate they were all completely voluntary. There was no enforcement mechanism (cops weren't even wearing masks during traffic stops), and no type of punishments for violations. I would have not cared either way, cuz F em, but looking around me, it seems not many others took the time to read em, or had succumbed to the fear porn.
People in general donтАЩt read policy, they accept it, the lawyers and doctors and politicians knew these policies were not long in the tooth, but they failed us as they always have, because the were scared of losing their licenses and toys, or worse. Our skepticism and all of our non-compliance I assume comes down to having lived a life of trials, and recognizing our successes for what they were, simple common sense and our ability to know difference. People are not bad as a general rule of thumb, they are stupid and yearn for governance and to be told how to think. Useless mouth breathers comes to mind.
Honestly I generally dont either, cuz fuck em. But in this case I was curious what type of trouble I may have gotten in for going about life, and was surprised when I read it.
I think you miss my point a little Joel, who gives a rats ass how the mandates and mask rules etc were written was my attitude, they cannot force me to mask, vax or anything. If I had a job that tried I would quit, my wife was willing to quit and move if her declination/exemption was denied. No one was forced to do anything, they went along like good little collective sheepтАж. You had the brains to read the bullshit policies, I give you a ton of credit for doing that btw. I donтАЩt know where you lived during the lock-me-down-please-save-me-from-the-cold period, it could have been bad where you livedтАж 90% of the country lived somewhere that it was easy to avoid these rules other than the workplaceтАж.
I think you miss my point. It was presented as if it were law. With that in mind I wanted to read the actual law, which it wasnt, and even it was, I just wanted to know what the ramifications would have been
